Visibility and Control of XDR managed endpoints
The Connect App for Palo Alto Cortex® XDR provides Forescout eyeSight with endpoint discovery and visibility of XDR properties for each endpoint. These include endpoint Hardware and Software types, versions, and XDR operational status, version, and detections. It also allows eyeSight to take action on the endpiont to isolate and unisolate endpoints.
Features and Benefits
Visibility of Managed Endpoints
Cortex XDR provides Forescout eyeSight with almost two dozen properties on each managed endpoint. These include Hardware, Operating System, Software versions, operational staus, and detected threats and infections. These properties are displayed in the Forescout GUI and can be used to trigger notification, remediation, and restriction actions via Forescout policy.
Isolate Endpoints
In addition to traditional responses of isolating an endpoint by changing network or firewall policies, the App adds two actions to Forescout eyeSight – the ability to isolate and unisolate endpoints using the XDR agent on the endpoint itself.
